About the Project
The IDGenWeb Project likes to present its patriotism by honoring those who were called to serve or volunteered in every armed forces since the beginning of our statehood in 1890. Since Idaho was one of the youngest states unionized in the late nineteenth century, our military history will merely begin with those veterans who served in the Civil War. In the early territorial period, Idaho had many veterans of the era transplanted during the early mining days. Even though, some had left after struck rich, many remained and became a part of their community.
The Idaho Military Project exclusive purpose is to display and honor those who served in the armed forces since its statehood and preserve and presents military history and medium that is available to our project.
If you have any information that could be added to this project, please contact the Project Manager. Thank you visiting our project!

"I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true.
I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have.
I must stand with anybody that stands right,
stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong."
-- Abraham Lincoln
